TAVI is a much more modern and safer alternative compared to traditional heart surgery. This minimally invasive procedure, which reduces the 4-6 hour duration of the classic operation to 60-90 minutes, is performed in specially equipped operating rooms with high-resolution imaging systems. Thanks to special anaesthesia protocols and precise ultrasound-guided techniques, blood loss is kept to a minimum (250-300 mL).

With a 98% success rate, TAVI is an ideal solution, especially for high-risk patients who are elderly, have low cardiac function, severe lung disease or kidney failure. The recovery process is rapid; 85% of patients are discharged from intensive care within the first 48 hours and are discharged on average within 4-5 days. Follow-up treatment is simple: daily aspirin and clopidogrel use for 6 months is sufficient. Thanks to regular check-ups and modern techniques, the rate of serious complications is only 3.4%.
